Why Should I Join Business Professionals of America?
- Competitive Events! Interested in graphic design? Want to improve your public speaking skills? Great at crunching numbers? The next Steve Jobs? Michigan BPA offers a wide array of business-related events, and there is something for everyone, from Extemporaneous Speech to Financial Math and Analysis to Computer Programming. Even if you are not interested in going into a business career, BPA’s competitive events will help you in all areas of school and life.
- Leadership Opportunities! By joining Huron BPA, you can get involved in the many leadership opportunities we offer. Serving as a member of a committee is a great first step. Later, you could run for a position on our ten-member board. If you’re very ambitious, you could even run for a position on the State Executive Council!
- Community Service! Huron BPA gives back to our community through service projects. If you’re interested in volunteering and helping those around you, our service projects are an opportunity to do so while working with your friends and classmates. Last year we raised $500 and volunteered for 52 hours to support veterans across America, winning our chapter the 2019 State Service Project Award. Two years ago, we collaborated with the Rotary Interact and Red Cross Clubs to donate 107 pounds of food to Food Gatherers. Help us make next year even more successful!
