National Winners

CONGRATULATIONS to our members of Huron’s Business Professionals of America Chapter! Diane Stocker-Bendersky, Christy Garrett and 22 members of the Business Professionals of America Huron Chapter traveled to Boston, Massachusetts from May 5th through 9th to compete in the BPA 2016 National Leadership Conference. Our chapter took home a total of 18 national awards among 16 winners. In addition, our chapter advisors, Ms. Garrett and Ms. Stocker-Bendersky were recognized with the National Honor Advisor Award for 20 years of service and for 25 years of service, respectively, in Business Professionals of America.  Congratulations to all those who competed at Nationals!

State Winners​
​
CONGRATULATIONS to our members of Huron’s Business Professionals of America Chapter! Diane Stocker-Bendersky, Christy Garrett, Karen Eisley, John Eisley, Ronald Flowers, Lauretta Flowers, Eric Noland, and 51 members of the Business Professionals of America Huron Chapter traveled to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids from March 17th-20th to compete against many other schools in Michigan at the 2016 BPA State conference.
The chapter took home a total of 28 awards. They received two 1st place awards, nine 2nd place awards, six 3rd place awards, nine 5th place awards, and one 7th place award! Furthermore, 25 members received the Statesman Torch Award which includes several hours of community services performed in our community.

This year marks the 30th year of service as Adviser for Ms. Eisley and 25th year of service as Adviser for Ms. Stocker- Bendersky. Both received the Service Award for their continuous outstanding service to the Business Professionals Of America -Michigan Association.

Regional Winners​

CONGRATULATIONS to our members of Huron’s Business Professionals of America Chapter! Diane Stocker-Bendersky, Christy Garret, Lauretta Flowers, Connie Goodman, Eric Noland, Michael Sumerton, Lauren Warren, Jacqueline Gibson, and 80 members of the Business Professionals of America Huron Chapter traveled to Henry Ford Community College on Friday, January 8th to compete against 29 other schools in the BPA Regional conference.
There were twenty-two 1st place awards, twenty-three 2nd place awards, eight 3rd  place awards, eleven 4th place awards,seven 5th place awards, and four 6th place awards! Additionally,sixteen received the Diplomat Torch Award. This gives a grand total of 74 awards among 55 winners this year!
